Seems to be the same as the Beretta cleaning rod and is also made in Italy and is cheaper. Just a suspicion?

Not sure how they do this for the price. The phosphor bronze brush is a bit weak (thin) but frankly the wooden rod is worth the money on its own. I like to have several rods so I dont have to keep changing from brush to jag to chamber brush etc. and effect an additional rid was needed just for the sake of it this fitted the bill perfectly!!
