Cortland 444 Classic Blue Intermediate Fly Line - 30yds. With a precise specific gravity of 1.06g/cc, this neutral density line is only slightly heavier than water and it sinks every so slowly. Originally designed for fishing swimming nymphs and emergers over shallow, submerged weed beds this line is also useful for a wide range of other applications.

Read the acclaimed reviews, so bought a Cortland 444 Classic Ice Blue intermediate last season. Regret to say, rather disappointed. On each occasion it floated and then, only after a few casts to get it wet, would sink in patches up the line. Decided to give it another go this season, so immersed the line in water for 24 hours hoping that would work, but first few casts it still floated. Hopeless.
