Excellent and comfortable boots, my Aigle boots sadly unwearable since foot surgery, but these are perfect. Warm and water tight easy on and off for those troubled with foot probs! Have walked up burns through bogs and over snowy terrain no problems and good grip on soles.

First pair split after 6 months, replacement after 4 months, lost the receipt - AVOID! Had a pair of Aigles, lasted 8 years!

Great but then problems with the zip separating from one and rendering it useless. Failed within the guarantee period but the guarantee had expired a few days before I notified Uttings. Both companies were helpful and offered an attractive replacement price. Did not want a second failure (as experienced by a previous reviewer) so opted for a pair of Aigle Parcours 2 ISO Open boots. More expensive but extremely comfortable, surprisingly warm and exceptionally well made.

I have had two pairs of Seeland boots. The first were terrible. They felt awesome when I first put them on, comfortable, warm etc. Then three weeks later the heel began to come away. It all went downhill from there. So I ordered a different pair. These too just fell to bits. I called the local Seeland rep, they asked where I bought them etc and said they would look into it.Nothing! Poor kit, poor service**My service comment does NOT relate to Uttings who are great!

Bought these in mid October but by the beginning of December the zip had started to come away on one of the boots, meaning that they leaked if you had to walk through deepish water. Three weeks later I noticed that there was also a small slit in the rubber in the other boot, just above the toe, meaning that that boot also leaked. I can tell that this slit is down to the rubber degrading and splitting rather than being caused by damage. Boots are worn daily for dog walking. Not impressed.

These boots are so comfortable and warm ... felt more like slippers than wellies ... Easy to get on and off with the side zip ... safe grip on the soles and Uttings offering these boots at great price .

Felt like I was walking on air in these boots. Very bouncy. Easy to get off with the zip opening. Very well made with a good grip sole and warm in the snow.
