This tiny telescope has a big reputation and for good reason: it is SMALL and light in weight, and optically outstanding up to a point. Most users prefer one of 2 eyepieces: I wanted the 13-40x zoom - this is excellent up to about 30x, then there's a noticeable reduction in light transmission and slight reduction in clarity (image less sharp). As a travel/backpack scope it has no equals. Those that use the 'other' eyepiece (27x DS) swear by it...
