I bought this device for police use & finding suspects hiding after crime, in immediate dark areas at night before dog or helicopter units can arrive. There are many products available, by chance & with some spare money I bought this model. Night 'field tests' with my dog in pitch black country fields proved rewarding & even out performed a small arms tourch. FORS: Impressive, clear manageable viewing. AGAINST: Bought from London W1 impulsively, paid too much, internet is cheaper!
