Snowbee New Geo-LT Waterproof/Breathable Hiking Boots.
Whether fishing, hiking or just walking, we all want to stay dry and comfortable all day and that’s just what our new hiking boots offer. Featuring our well-proven Vapour-Tec® breathable/waterproof membrane, they will not only keep you dry, but allow your feet to breathe, to avoid damp socks; the main cause of foot blisters.
The uppers feature a unique blend of waterproof ‘Crazy Horse’ distressed leather, suede and water-resistant textile mesh, reinforced with hard-wearing, rush rubber heel and toe caps for protection and durability.
The internal, ventilated mesh lining is laminated with our Vapour-Tec® breathable/ waterproof membrane, providing waterproofness of 15,000mm and breathability of 1000g/m2/24hrs to keep you cool and dry all day.
A high, contoured top-line provides ankle support, without restricting flexibility, while the heavily padded collar and tongue provide additional protection and avoid chaffing. A webbing heel-loop helps get boots on and off, while the tongue gusset keeps out debris. The lacing system uses nylon lacing eyes, with two pairs of ‘quick-lace’ hooks at the top, for faster lacing and a precise fit.
For supreme comfort, there is moulded EVA midsole, contoured to the foot shape for stability, with a padded EVA footbed and textile mesh lining. The outsole, is a sturdy rubber + EVA moulding, with a deep tread cleated, self-clearing sole pattern, with a 5.5mm lug depth and raised, protective toe moulding.
Review by Martin Hill
These boots are dreadful Im afraid. Second time of wearing them the pullon strap broke on one boot. Every time you take them off the insoles come out and irritatingly they move around when walking. The ankle foam is not soft enough and is rubbing. I bought these for walking the dogs as I wanted something lightweight but they are really only suitable for walking to the local paper shop and back. I really dont consider them fit for purpose and I imagine they are not going to last 5 minutes. I should have stuck with my normal trusted brand of hiking boots!
