I put these on twice in my own home. I did not even get to remove the gortex label. I put them on a third time to go for a days walking as I tied the lace on the right shoe the top lace pininon pulled out of the shoe leaving the lace hanging in my hand. No day out walking, postage to pay at the post office returning the goods. The only good thing I can say is that the defect happened before I was in the middle of no-where.
