Firstly, the electronics are far improved compared to a cheaper set I was using previously, with everything sounding more natural and far less static although still audible if turned up to the max. They are relatively low profile and in addition very comfortable due to the soft ear cups and easily adjustable head band. I would still recommend using these in combination with ear plugs if your shooting full bore rifles in a more confined range environment.
