Great rod well balanced but light casts well and lots of power for handling fish. If this lasts as long as my Daiwa AWB (40 years and still going strong) itll be my grandson using it

Quality item just need the chance to get out and pull in the whoppers. Super Kenzaki the name says it all.

Reel seat and clamping nut very small and doesnt hold a fixed spool reel very well at all I was able to move the reel from side to side. The plastic tightening nut is too small and not easy to grip. Reel seat and clamp spoils an otherwise okay rod but its not a brilliant rod. I have older Daiwa rods which were built better. I was disappointed with this new Daiwa Super Kensaki Uptider its not what I hoped it would be and I returned it for a full refund.
