Bought as an upgrade to a cheap 100mm optic. Its not what goes in but the amount and quality of light at the eyepiece, this is in another league. I want it to supplement binos but mainly for good photos when my 500+1.4 is not enough. Ummed and arred about A or S eyepiece. All things considered, been out 3 times with it now, I made the right choice.
