Fenix PD40R v3.0 Torch. Fenix PD40R V3.0 is a compact 3000 lumen torch incorporating a patented mechanical rotary switch in the head. This controls four brightness levels from 30 to 3000 lumens plus SOS and Strobe modes.

The included high capacity 21700 Li-ion battery delivers exceptional output and run times. The battery is charged inside the torch via a waterproof USB-C socket in the neck of the light (charging cable supplied). Ultra rugged and dependable, PD40RV3 is rated for use in temperatures from -35 to 45 degrees C and features IP68 rated waterproofing to 2 meters depth for 30 minutes.

The 500m central beam offers outstanding range for general outdoor and search use, combined with a wide spill beam to safely light your close surroundings. The light takes 3 hours to charge from empty using the supplied USB to USB-C cable and your 5V 2A mains adapter (phone charger or similar - not supplied). A built-in power indicator LED gives current battery status so you'll always know when it's time to recharge.

Operation

On/Off
Rotate (click) the mechanical switch clockwise to turn on the light. Rotate counter clockwise (click) to turn off the light.

Output selection.
Rotate (click through) the mechanical switch clockwise from Off  to select:  Low - Medium - High - Turbo - SOS - Strobe. Rotate counter clockwise from Strobe to select: SOS - Turbo - High - Medium - Low - Off.
