Purchased because my aluminium 550 with scope was getting too heavy to carry around all day. Carbon 190 is appreciably lighter therefore very happy with purchase for mobile birding.

I have been saving up for one of these and just by chance came across Uttings they were not my first thought for camera gear. Glad I did the price was so good I could also get the ball head I wanted. Im still getting use to the tripod so far so good its easier than my previous one as I have arthritis in my hand to adjust because of the lever system and the centre colour only needs one finger to extend it.So with the change I can buy myself a bottle of stout and a packet of crisps!

Well designed. Its Manfrotto so the basic product is overpriced. It is after all just a tripod.
