put one on my 45-70 clear holds zero stands up to the recoil. good eye relief well impressed so far

I chose this scope because the size was perfect for my CZ452 Standard model and it is compact enough to clear the tangent rear sight without removing it, only to be mislaid as is the case with most CZ452s. It is clear and bright and a perfect match for this classic rifle with just the right zoom range. I would not hesitate to buy another Nikon optic and would wholeheartedly reccomend them to others looking for great value in what is probably a lifetime investment.

Great low magnification scope. Really clear and holds zero well on the recoil of a .357 magnum lever action rifle.

Read the mixed reviews on this model but decided to go ahead and order one anyway. So glad I did, it ticks all the boxes in being small, light weight and with great lenses. If you want a no nonsense scope with fantastic glass, check out this little prostaff.

I own two and they are that good for the price iv just ordered another from Uttings. Also regarding the review Dave wrote saying his did not hold its zero on a spring air gun, this scope has been on all size call rifles and spring rifles iv used and it's never lost zero, so you must of had a very rare bad scope with somthing wrong or something was wrong in the setup or Spring rifle, I'm a gunsmith and never heard of a bullet rated scope failing on a spring air rifle.

Very clear and seems well made, but don't use it on a spring air rifle. Mine failed after less than 1 tin of pellets. It wouldn't hold zero despite their claims of being able to cope with "the heaviest recoil..."

My third 2-7 x Pro Staff. Latest version brighter than the original - Used on air rifles, still easy to re set the focus for air rifle range. Massive MOA range means will line up on any rifle, inc break barrels with downward angled barrels, Diana, HW, FWB etc - Probably the best air rifle scope for under £150, latest version does seem to have slightly shallower depth of focus than previous version, but with a 32mm objective, that's still loads. Highly recommended, not just for air rifle -

I've used it on driven boar for two seasons on my 300WM. The sight worked perfectly in all conditions -25 C to %2B35C. I fired cca 250 rounds and it's still in use. Artemis Hunting Limited
