A superb package of equipment, the lense quality and brightness is good, the SCB recticle, turrets and zero easy to use. Can't fault it, it just isn't worth spending money on cheaper scopes. Sits really nicely on my HW97 - just the right length. Provided promptly by Uttings( & from past experience I can also testify to Gary and Sammie's aftersales service). I would recommend this scope. Happy shooting.

It's easy to see why the Viper 10x44 has such a loyal following on the HFT scene. Top shooters like Chris Cundey and Richard Woods have had great success with this scope, and proven time and again that it's unnecessary to spend big money in order to win trophies regularly. The scopes success is due largely to the design of the genius SCB1 reticle. And Gary and Sammie's reputation for looking after their customers is second to none.

For HFT this is one of the best scope the is & not point in spending more imo. Just still not sure about SCB Reticle. Hold zero very well. Must say I'm a big fan of fixed mag's easy to do the math :)

This is a very well engineered scope from china and japan. The only problem i found with it is the tools you get to take off the flip up covers are a bit too sharp/hard as they take the paint off of the hole and parts where they are meant to go. It's not a major issue (could just be me).
