It seems that Hawke Optics have made a marketing error in not producing scope mounts suitable for the new 624x50 Airmax 30sf ir compact scope and a search led me to these BKL300 Single Strap mounts plenty of clearance to fit the scope on my BSA R10 Se.

Bought these mounts for a Hawke Airmax 30 SF Compact. Sportsmatch mounts are to long and extend to a position that interferes with the side focus wheel. These BKL mounts are perfect. They are very well made and very easy to attach and set up.

Great quality and a great idea in that they are self centering but beware the centering system means that they are higher than other makes and can catch you out.

These mounts are excellent quality. But buyer beware, the mounts are higher compared to other makes because of their construction. The self centering works superbly but does need extra height. That is why they are not made in a low height.

Ive yet to use these mounts as they are for a new gun thats yet to arrive. However Im very disappointed to find Uttings description of the mounts as Stainless Steel totally incorrect themountd are brushed Aluminium and are far away from the effect Im looking for. The price was good BKL make great products way above all cheap and medium priced mounts as they are one piece bases ensuring a correct and accurate fit reducing possible fitting errors
