Seeland Hawker Low Walking Boots. Seeland conceived the Hawker Low boot as a trekking boot for stalking, where the weather forecast and tough terrain will not discourage you from covering a wide area in search of the game. The Hawker Low boot is a lightweight boot with a short shaft, designed on the same principles as a trekking boot. The flexible forefoot and glass fibre shank produce a boot that is supple, but that still offers good support on any surface. The waterproof and breathable SEETEX® membrane ensures that your feet will stay dry for the duration of the shoot. The boot itself is constructed from panels of rubber, leather, nubuck and mesh, providing the best possible combination of flexibility and protection. The outsole is made from shock-absorbent EVA foam next to the foot and a patterned, non-slip rubber on the outside. The Hawker Low boot is a trekking-style boot with the hardwearing qualities of a stalking boot.

Bought these boots last year have had them on 4 times and today while wearing them water was getting into them walking through grass that was slightly wet. Not best if want to wear all day on hill. Will need to go and get different pair boots now

Looking for a reasonably priced pair of boots to replace a pair of 30 yr old Line 7 leather/fabric boots after a bit of searching opted for these Seelands in a size 10/44 as they seemed to be a rough equivalent to the old boots. Comfortable straight out of the box and light. The ankle (and upper) material is nylon(polyester) and is quite stiff but not in a detrimental way. The tongue gusset doesnt extend to the top of the boot only to the middle lacing hook which might be an issue if any water you happen to walk through is deeper than that point. The boots have had a couple of good soakings now walking through long wet grass and remained dry inside and the tread pattern seems to shrug off mud easily so maintaining good levels of grip (unlike some boots). Having had to switch from wellingtons to walking boots for dog walks due to dorsal foot pain these boots will probably get a good road test over the coming months. Im hoping theyll give me many miles of dry warm ache free dog walking.
