Nordisk Svalbard 1 PU Tent. Very spacious one person tent with a small pack size.
The Svalbard 1 PU is a handy, functional, spacious and extremely stable tent. It surpasses the magic 32.7m/s in the wind tunnel test which means that it can even withstand a hurricane. The construction also allows plenty of room for gear inside the sleeping compartment with some extra space for footwear and cooking in the small porch. The Svalbard 1 is easy to pitch and quick to pack down plus, as it is inner pitched first, it allows you to pitch the inner tent as a stand-alone in fine weather. The small pack size makes Svalbard the perfect trekking companion.

The story behind the name
Svalbard is an archipelago in the Arctic and the northernmost part of mainland Europe, right between Norway and the North Pole. It has seven national parks full of seabirds, polar bears, reindeer and marine mammals as the Arctic climate here is significantly warmer than other areas at the same latitude. Svalbard has only few roads which is why snowmobile, aircraft and boat are the preferred vehicles.
