Nikko Stirling Mountmaster 6-18x44 AO Illuminated Rifle Scope. Hunting small game with air guns or.22 rifles is becoming increasingly popular and a challenging sport. So too are the various plinking targets available today. Usually the game or target is small and the distances can vary from shot to shot. Normally a riflescope is focuses and parallax free at 100 yards. However when the game or target is at closer ranges then focusing and parallax correction is necessary to avoid inaccuracy. The Mountmaster AO series has been developed to provide a fast correction to focus and parallax through the adjustable objective (AO) lenses. Now you can adjust right down to targets that are only 10 yards if required!
The AO series feature a very strong 3/8-inch dovetail mount ring. Additionally we have added a recoil stop screw that allows the mount to be secured to powerful air guns without fear of shifting under the sharp recoil of the spring release. The mountmaster AO series features finger adjustable windage and elevation bezels and an attractive matte finish. The reticle supplied is the popular Mil Dot which allows convenient holdover markers allowing quick shooting over varying distances.

I fit this scope to a Marlin 925 .22lr rimfire rifle, optics are clear and bright the reticle is good for vermin or target, it certainly holds zero even after lugging around the field all day, an excellent scope at an excellent price.

An excellent rifle scope suitable for both air rifle and HMR. The build quality of Nikko Stirling scopes in superb for the price and with over £30.00 off at Uttings it would be wrong not to buy.The mounts supplied with the scope are more than adequate for fixing to my PCP rifle and with crystal clear optics illuminated etched glass 1/2 mildot reticule and up to 18 times zoom when supported on a bipod or bean bag this scope offers pinpoint accuracy. The adjustable objective offers quick adjustment down to what I have found to be around 1215 yards. An excellent upgrade either for field target or small game shooting over 4045 yards. Super piece of kit.

I purchased a Air arms s400 for my 14 year old son. So I needed a scope so I purchased a nikko stirling 6.18 44 ir scope from uttings. It was absolutely perfect for the gun. We set it up in no time. The scope itself is crystal clear easy to use. The clicks are nice and sturdy. My son is using it for target shooting and he shooting very well so over all excellent scope
