A lovely light well balanced rod.Great for blue water plugging and light sharking. Not being in a hard case does not effect the performance whatsoever, nothing a drain tube and a hacksaw can't cure. Crackling rod, can't fault it

not in a case just came with a cheap bit of cloth covering... every travel rod i ever bought before this came in a tube to protect it.
