The proposed 800m beam is wildly inaccurate, more like 200m at best. The dimmer switch is pointless because the beam is so inadequate why would you want to dim it? I used a Tracer Stingray for lamping rabbits with my lurcher, this torch could put out an 800m beam and the dimmer switch was useful because the beam was so bright. Unfortunately this product is now unavailable.
