Really good Scope with very clear optics (I ordered the Duplex Reticle and its very nice crisp and clear).I did have an issue with the first one I received (it wouldnt focus properly at higher magnifications) but uttings were very quick to send out a replacement which works fine.

Needed a scope for my spring air rifle. These fit the bill and according to Hawke will stand up to the shock. Time will tell and have the life time warranty if there are problems. Reasonable price and look well built.

Although the scope seemed good initially out of the box when the turret caps were removed for zeroing the windage dial indicator was on the elevation cap position and visa versa in addition the windage zeroing direction was incorrect so to move point of impact to the right I had to rotate the turret left. Seems like the wrong dial marker was attached making set up a bit longer.

This is a Fantastic bit of kit after watching numerous reviews of scopes I was convinced I wanted to buy one of Hawkes scopes I initially bought the 39x40 AO and although a great scope for short distance I found it hard to see my groupings at 4050 metres so bought the 412 and have been really impressed excellent build quality and the warranty is exceptional. I have it fitted to my Weihrauch HW97K and have been totally happy with it

Replaced old 4x40 scope on my .22 Hornet with this one. Hawke looks very good quality for the money. I am able to focus and shoot without my glasses which I couldnt do with the old one. 12 power makes shooting far more accurate off a rest. only down side it would have been nice to have numbers on the turrets to save counting clicks.
