Leica Ultravid 10x42 HD-Plus Binoculars. The 42 HD-PLUS models are almost as compact as the 32 mm models, allowing comfortable and ergonomic handling and a steady grip. Yet they provide light gathering capabilities close to the 50 mm model and thanks to new coating methods and special HT Glass from Schott they guarantee improved light transmission and therefore brighter images and an even wider spectrum of contrast.
Experience nature in razor-sharp details
The Leica Ultravid HD series incorporates top-performing lenses that keep stray light at a minimum. This guarantees superb colour and contrast, a bright and clear view and sharpest detail resolution.
Constructed to be a reliable companion
Hidden within their high-class design, these binoculars know only the finest mechanisms and optics. Additional innovative features make each Leica Ultravid HD a durable and reliable companion.

Perfect despite the hefty price tag.

Tried a few out and read all the reviews and opinions on the net only downside I could see was some people didnt like the ergonomics compared to a similar set from Swarovski. So for £300 less I bought these as I couldnt see how bad ergonomics could be on a set of binoculars. Nothing wrong with the ergonomics and are actually lighter than the Swarovski. My eyes arent good enough to tell the difference in the optical quality between them but I can say that these have amazing optics even in low light. Not cheap but you can tell the second you focus on an object that it was money well spent.
