This reel is a great mix of form and function and much better than I thought it was going to be. It maybe a little heavier than some but it is built to last and balances very well with #6 to #7 weight rods. It also take plenty of backing with a #7 line. If you are not sure whether to by this, just do it, you wont be disappointed.
