Good jacket for me as a dog walker

This replaced the Berghaus jacket I have had for many years and which performed wonderfully in the worst of weathers. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to test the performance of the Cornice jacket which I chose (blame the warm weather!). However it is one of the few that is the same length as my old on rather than the modern trend of bumfreezer. I cant help feeling that penny pinching has been the order of the day it has two less pockets (which were invaluable in the old one) and it feels ever so slightly less robust. We shall see.
