The 3-12X32 MTC Viper Connect is MTC's newest and most revolutionary hunting scope. The Connect, being a short eye relief scope, offers an amazingly wide field of view - almost double at 10X compared to a normal scope. Add in all the great features like the twist-adjust eye relief, the built-in click stop at 10X zoom, the rubber eye piece extender and the integrated objective lens cover and the Viper Connect just has to be a total winner for all shooters.

I had one of these scopes several years ago and let it go with the rifle it was mounted on. I recently purchased a rifle and was tempted into buying a Hawke Touch scope but very soon regretted it trading the Hawke in and returning to Uttings for a Viper Connect. The scope specific mount is excellent and overcomes the problem of needing a mount with a long rearward extension. Dont doubt for a minute that the Viper and the eyepioece focus will adjust for either direct sight or through my bifocals. The only downside is the poorer guarantee compared with the Hawke but the much shorter turrets are helpful especially when putting the rifle in a case which was a tight fit.

In my previous review I said I had three of these two scb’s and one amd but I now have three amd’s and sold the two scb’s I really like these scopes amazing depth of field very easy target acquisition throughly recommended.

I have three of these scopes two scb reticle and one amd reticle I prefer the amd ,gives better hold-over points ,but as scopes go these are very good only one star less than a ten as the eye relief is short-no good for springers.But still a very good scope l ditched my Hawke scopes for these and never regretted it ??

This is an excellent scope if you have perfect vision. The Ocular adjustment is very poor, and will need to wear glasses to see the cross hairs. I advise anyone interested in this scope to look through one before purchasing a viper connect.

Was unsure about this initially but ended up swapping my Falcon Menace for a Connect and I'm glad I did. Perfect for quick target acquisition for targets due to the wide field of view. I have only used it up to about 30 metres so far and I'm very happy with it. The eye relief takes some getting used to but all in all a very useful addition to a PCP air rifle.

This is an excellent scope. At lower magnifications the field of view is enormous. Perfect for picking up squirrels in trees or Rats quickly. At higher magnifications the field of view is still massive compared to other scopes making target aquesition quicker. I have The dedicated connecta mount which allows for the perfect scope mounting and setup. Optically it's also very good and the illuminated reticules are glass etched and very clear. A great litle scope.

Excellent compact scope with an amazing field of view for size. 12x mag gives same field of view as 7x mag on my other scope with 44mm objective lens. Really like the built in front lens cover and the illuminated ret is quick and easy to use being a push button for on/off. Illumination level is set on a rotary dial.
