A universal oil for maintaining metal, wood, leather, rubber, synthetic material, skin, animals coats and much more. Ideally suited for hunting and shooting sports, fishing, agriculture, household, gardening and handicrafts.
Weapons
Protects from corrosion, lubricates, cleans and acts against residues of powder, lead, copper and tombac. It creeps into finest fissures and dissolves old soilings and resins of unsuited oils. It neutralises combustion residues. It also cleans, maintains and preserves the wooden stock and leather gunslings.
Cleaning & Care of Weapons
Pull a tow saturated with Ballistol or a felt stop through the barrel. Depending on how much residue there is, this procedure may have to be repeated several times. Finish with pulling a dry tow or felt stop from the breech towards the muzzle. Drip or spray some Ballistol on single parts and the magazine and then dab the parts with a lint-free cloth. Ballistol maintains and protects your gun, keeps mechanical parts well-functioning and removes metal residue in the barrel.
Wood
Protects, preserves and rejuvenates all natural wooden surfaces. It enhances the woodgraining and protects against humidity and insect damage.
Leather
Effectively protects leather against getting hard and dry, against water, insects and fungi. Residues of tannic acid in leather will be neutralised. Dry leather softens and becomes elastic again with a subtle sheen. Bright leather can become darker. The distinctive smell of Ballistol will quickly evaporate. No greasy film will be left on the leather.

I love this Ballistol short for Ballistic Oil. I dont think theres anything it cant clean lubricate or protect. Its also food quality and none harmful if ingested but I dont fancy drinking it. A little goes a long way too. The only problem I thought I had with the spray can I bought was that the instructions were in every language except English but I was mistaken. There are more instructions in other languages including English underneath the label. Find the little tab with the country flags on and peel it back to reveal the pages beneath. Apparently its even good for your skin!

excellent oil well worth the price the only problem I ever had using it as when I used it on a leather knife sheath that was in direct contact with the brass knife finger guard and the newly oiled leather reacted and greened a little. nothing a rub of metal polish and beeswax on the leather where it rested didnt fix.
