Hunting small game with airguns or .22 rifles is becoming increasingly popular and a challenging sport. So too are the various plinking targets available today. Usually the game or target is small and the distances can vary from shot to shot. Normally a riflescope is focuses and parallax free at 100 yards. However when the game or target is at closer ranges then focusing and parallax correction is necessary to avoid inaccuracy.
The AO IR series feature a very strong 3/8-inch dovetail mount ring. Additionally we have added a recoil stop screw that allows the mount to be secured to powerful airguns without fear of shifting under the sharp recoil of the spring release.
The Mountmaster AO IR series features finger adjustable windage and elevation bezels and an attractive matte finish. The reticle supplied is the popular Illuminated Mil Dot which allows convenient holdover markers allowing quick shooting over varying distances!

This scope is amazing for the money! Easy to zero, crystal clear you'd think it was a scope 3 times the price. The illuminated reticle in Red and Green is bright and clear. Fantastic scope for well under the £100 %2B you would expect to pay for this quality. crystal clear at 40yds and the green illumination picks out the most obscure kill points on hidden prey. Used every day for the last 2 months and i can't find a single thing to dislike , i am well impressed.

Clear as a bell, even in low light. Mil-Dot is reticle is great for gauging holdover at various ranges. IR good when shooting up into trees. Good zoom range too. Brilliant scope for the money!

Absolutely beautiful piece of kit. Both Red and Green variable illumination as well as the "off" Black Milldot. Scope adjusts well for focus and magnification. Great field of view. At this price with the mounts included it's a bargain. Delivered at home 5 minutes after scheduled courier time slot. Highly recommended.
