Hunting small game with airguns or .22 rifles is becoming increasingly popular and a challenging sport. So too are the various plinking targets available today. Usually the game or target is small and the distances can vary from shot to shot. Normally a riflescope is focuses and parallax free at 100 yards. However when the game or target is at closer ranges then focusing and parallax correction is necessary to avoid inaccuracy.
The new Mountmater AO series has been developed to provide a fast correction to focus and parallax through the adjustable objective (AO) lenses. Now you can adjust right down to targets that are only 10 yards if required!
The AO series feature a very strong 3/8-inch dovetail mount ring. Additionally we have added a recoil stop screw that allows the mount to be secured to powerful airguns without fear of shifting under the sharp recoil of the spring release.
The Mountmaster AO series features finger adjustable windage and elevation bezels and an attractive matte finish. The reticle supplied is the popular Mil Dot which allows convenient holdover markers allowing quick shooting over varying distances!

Great value for money scope a quarter the price of many top end scopes but much better quality than its low price might suggest.

A nice well made scope with a clear image, I don't think the "blobs" on the reticule are as positive as stadia lines, and the illuminated reticule is hit and miss, there is no definitive OFF setting, you just keep turning the dial until you cannot see any green / red illumination

A bargain basement at this price .use it on my Weihrauch 99s springer .

Clear bright image useful half mil dot reticle supplied with good quality double screw mounts. Excellent value for money.

Optics are really good. Image is clear not distorted. The scope is easy to fit and set up the mount is a quality one and given the price I challenge anyone to find a better deal.

Mounted on a .22 springer, this scope has held zero well using the included mounts. Only gripe is slight clouding around the outside edge when on x9 magnification, but ok to use. Good positive clicking turrets and smooth AO and magnification rings plus ocular adjust. Amazing for the cost. Pay a lot more if you want super clear optics but I've found this perfectly usable on my relatively short range airgun.

Reasonable quality optics with clear half mil dot good scope for the price point and standing up well to BSA Lightning .22 gas ram so far.

This sight wasn't a gift but for the price it's close. AO system is good & invaluable. Clear reticle and vision through. Mounts included... I did 'hmmm' about these but they're solid and in alignment; no twist or deflection when nipped up. It has stayed perfectly zeroed on two PCP rifles (.22 & .77). In a nutshell: extremely good value. And the reason I've just ordered the 3-9x50 AO IR version, to assist this blind numpty through night shoots.

Good scope for the price. Mounts are a little low but works very well.

I had the same scope in the guise of a Hawke HD before and that had problems with the vertical adjustment jamming. I bought this one bssed on these reviews but it has gone wrong again. The vertical adjstment had a nice positive "click" t does click still but only just and it just doesnt feel pisitive in operation. Also the ring which has the AO markings on it came off after only 5 shots,I have glued it back on but thats not the point. It will be replaced sooner rather than later..

I personally have 3 of this model on my PCP air rifle and my two rimfires. I do indoor target shooting competitions at 20 yards standing (L.S.R) so I wanted a light(ish)weight scope that could parallax down to 20 yards and below. The fact that you get FREE mounts with it too are a bonus as they are quality (2 piece) mounts . The finger adjustable turrets are very welcome with positive clicking and the scope covers are transparrent with one end being tinted yellow which can be used for clearer visibilty on very sunny/light days. At this price, you CANNOT go wrong 10/10.
