Overall I'm content with this monocular, once you get used to switching the IR on and got the eyepiece focused for your vision, it's pretty good piece of kit. Better in 'dark' conditions (moonlight effects the resolution/contrast you can spot a fox at the edge of a field 100 metres away clearly, and see 'eyes' at over 200 metres away. You may need to re-focus as you 'pan' across, but useful to get an advantage on lamp shy foxes. Be careful of the battery pack- I shorted mine in my pocket- hot!
