Kowa Twist-Up Eyepiece Protection Cap. The TSN-CV88A is a new, improved eyepiece protection cap which contains a protective layer of glass to prevent dirt, dust and other objects from damaging the lens and coatings of the eyepiece. It replaces the existing eye-relief cap and screws on to the thread of the eyepiece.
The major improvement over the previous model (TSN-CV88) is that this new eyepiece protection cap offers a twist-up mechanism to offer the user full eye relief adjustment. This was not the case with the previous model which remained static.
