Guideline 4 Piece LPX Predator Fly Rod - 9ft. Guideline LPX Predator single hand fly rods is a speciality rod series for large predatory fish with a well-balanced power to be a superb casting rod that doesn’t fatigue the angler during long hours. The action is fast but with a flex and curve that lets you cast and fish big flies with ease. They feature a high quality cork grip with extra length and a reinforced foam front for extra durability, same as on our Coastal rods. The whole rod speaks ruggedness, with only high quality components and extra large stripper guides if a tangle needs to pass through. On the heaver line weights we even put classic snake guides for extra strength.

9ft #5 & #6
These are the lightest offerings in the series and the perfect tools for perch, bass and other smaller predators in small to medium waters. Still very potent rods that delivers bulky flies and poppers with authority.

9ft #7, #8 & #9
The 9´ #7 is a delicate rod for lighter pike fishing with slim flies, or when you need to cast bigger flies for perch, bass and pikeperch. The 9´ #8 and #9 are the powerhouse rods for big fish, big flies and when conditions get rough. For extra stability these rods are fitted with classic snake rings.

• C.A.P M4.0 advanced blank construction Technology. All 4-piece.
• Varying flex depending on rod model and line weight. Generally, a Fast Flex with a well-balanced power to be both a superb casting rod that doesn’t fatigue the angler, yet a rod with the power needed for effective and fast fish-fighting.
• Glossy coated deep rusty-brown colored blanks with matching brown wrappings.
• Grips and fighting butts are fitted with Super Grade Cork of high density and have very little fill. They have matte-black hard anodized reel seats with “Predator logo”. All other metal parts are also hard anodized in matte finish to ensure thickest and hardest layer of protective anodizing possible.
• Titanium stripper guides with zirconia inserts. All other guides are PVD coated in a semi-matte gun smoke finish. Rods from 9’ #5-6 have single leg guides and rods in line weights 7, 8 and 9 have snake guides.
• Delivered with recycled polyester rod bags in a strong Polypropylene tube that also has a recycled polyester fabric cover.

C.A.P M4.0 Technology
The advanced carbon layup in these rods features C.A.P Technology (complex axial pattern) paired with a unidirectional carbon fiber structure for maximum strength and low weight. Unidirectional carbon fiber fabric is a type of carbon structure that is non-woven and features all fibers running in a single, parallel direction for maximum strength lengthwise. In a Complex Axial Pattern (CAP) prepreg layers are placed at varying angles to each other to maximize strength and stability in all directions. The result is spectacular performance with flawless recovery, unique precision, and strength despite an incredibly low weight.
