Very well constructed with special locations for carbide studs if necessary. Bought to replace a US brand with removable soles. Unable to get replacement soles, so quite useless in the UK. I will use carbide studs with these rubber soles as they give the best grip on any surface and the tread in the rubber works well on muddy slopes.

These boots seem well made BUT when you wade in a “green” spring river they are completely useless! Slippery is an understatement. The suggestion that a Michelin sole is good is a mistake. For nearly £200 I completely regret buying them.
