This model very much improved on my old one (about 5 years old) the video it takes is super qualityit is now no glow so no light shows at all and the new design is so practical.

This light weight trail camera produces excellent video of visiting Foxes which do not seem to be aware of the presence of the camera. The only problem was that the moulding of the bottom did not allow the use of a standard tripod but I had a thinner one available. This was only a problem in a garden with no trees. Out in the field it is intended to be strapped to a tree. The advanced settings will take some practice.

A sturdy wildlife camera. It wasnt too difficult for this senior to understand the operating instructions although I would have preferred the full manual to be included in the box instead of having to download it. The camera takes good videos of the nighttime visitors to our garden (but it would have been nice to be able to set more precise times rather than just the day/night/24hrs option bearing in mind that it gets light very early during the summer months) . Having both controls batteries in the main camera body (rather than having the controls on the inside of the front panel) hopefully means its less likely to develop electrical faults the battery compartment safety catch is good. I cant see the IR flashing on Setup to gauge distance/angle but for use in our garden thats not a major problem. I anticipate a lot of enjoyment watching the wildlife. Overall I like it a lot.
