The daiwa air rods were superb in a 24hr pouring down with rain session Landed 4 codling and cast out 6 oz leads and big black lug bait effortlessQuality rods imo really pleased with there performance in horrible conditions with .4 dia line not one issue Bite detection was great even from small whiting for a carbon tip slack liners easy sit very well in tide run All round pleasantly surprised Time will tell for longevity but if looked after many years use ahead
