The rod came extremely well packaged and presented by Scierra. Very light in the hand with good recovery speeds especially for a 6 piece rod. It also comes with line up dots which is a nice extra and general build quality is very good for £279. I took the rod out to cast a few lines on my local river and it handles a 4# nicely casting long lines and tight loops with ease, picking up well and presenting at short range with little line out of the tip. Very pleased.
