Does the job. It is very basic and without any attachments (the one that oils etc) that some other makers include. It is quite thin so def fine for a 20g but a fluffier fatter one might do better for a 12g. I have a bore snake for cleaning and then use this for taking any finer stuff left in the barrels before using a third rod for oiling.
