Excellent value bought to take on our up and coming cruise crystal clear glass nice weight to hold and vocus dial is nice and smooth to move very pleased

Disappointing. Perhaps I got a duff one. I have an old beaten up pair of Hawke Endurance ED 10 x 42 Binos which deliver a crisp superb image still. The monocular is well built, sturdy, the focus is smooth and the two position twist up eye cup is great. However, The image is far from clear when focused. The number plate on a tractor 100 yards away was readable but not particularly clear, at least not as clear as the image on my old ED Endurance Binos.

Great product and crystal clear to the edges with the ED glass. The focus is incredibly smooth and its easy to use one handed while out with the rifle and shooting sticks. I use it as a light pocket sized spotting scope both while stalking and zeroing on targets. I went for 10x over 8x for that bit of extra detail on targets but if youre wanting it for general viewing and bird watching you might be better with the wider field of view that the 8x one gives you. Ive also owned a pair of Hawke binoculars for over 10 years and they are as good as new and up there with the very top brands for image quality. Highly recommended.
