7x42 is becoming a rare thing in binoculars especially at the budget end. These are compact enough to fit into a large pocket without feeling too cramped in the hand like some 32mm type compacts bins can do. The build quality is high with no significant flaws in the glass or housing. The view is wide bright and neutral although the area of sharp focus relatively small with blurring at the edges. CA control is good at the centre although can be found if looking for it (branches against overcast skies). Recommended for travelling and bird watching.
