This is a super light and high quality piece of kit that feels great when loaded in the cast. The tip is very slim but also very firm though which wont suit everyone or all fishing conditions and like many modern Daiwa rods it does need a good casting style to get the best out of it.

Daiwa TNS126MAU Before I bought this rod I searched for reviews but found nothing usefull. There were reports of it being anything from a tournament casting rod to a continental rod none of which measures up to reality. The Daiwa catalogue is no help it states it is a multiplier rod with V joint and X45 whatever that is.Here is my assessment of it.Measured length is 12 7 it weighs 546g fitted with 8 polished stainless steel K guides plus tip.The rod tapers from the top of the fitted shrink tube continuously down to a 2.75mm tip.The shrink tubed section is parallel the rod blank measures 24mm diameter with the shrink tube added on top with a 26mm sliding reel fitting . To me a 26mm reel fitting on a rod of this power is a bit old hat.It is very red with a painted finishthe butt ring is underwhipped and logos are some sort of plastic tape.Under load the rod bends progressively from the tip down to the reel.I would describe it as a reel up medium power pendulum casting rod it can be fully loaded with 4ozs...

Great service. Ordered 11am Thursday. Delivered as promised 9.30am the next day! With 10% first purchase discount it was the cheapest price of all. I looked at several other rods in the £150 - £350 price range. This one has nice balance and was slimmer and much lighter than any others. Only critisism would be very small reflective finish at tip. Great protective rigid rod bag. Looking forward to using it soon.
