I have trouble finding hiking boots to fit my narrow shallow feet and am very pleased with the fit of these Zamberlans. I could still do with a little less space around the heel but that can probably be done with a more shaped insole. I found them quite comfortable to wear from the outset although the cuff on one boot presses a bit on my prominent ankle bone; I think this will ease up in the end. The lacing goes well down the toes making them easier to tighten to my requirements. I would prefer however a third row of grommets at the ankle rather than just two as I find getting into and out of the boots a bit tedious though thats maybe in comparison to my old boots which are now rather like slippers. Overall a good purchase.
