IS R series spottingscopes deliver excellent value for money offering high levels of performance and versatility in a compact, lightweight body. Designed for the first-time user, frequent traveller and those on a budget they are available in 60mm standard, 60mm ED or 70mm standard formats with the option of straight-through or 45° angled viewing.
In line with Opticron's commitment to offer the best choice of eyepieces to suit your budget and application, the IS R spottingscopes are fully compatible with IS, HR2, HDF and SDL eyepieces (adapters may be required). For general use it is recommended you choose either the 40918S IS or 40933S HR2 zoom eyepiece.

I bought this as a second telescope to use in bird hides as the straight body makes viewing easier than using my Swarovski angled scope. It was extremely good value for money and does what I want it to do very well.Pat
