Buyer beware these are HD not ED binoculars. I have an old pair of Hawke 10 X 36 ED binoculars and these 8 X 56 HD are not opticaly as good. There is obvious apochromatic abhoration when in woodland stalking (Particulrly with shafts of sunlight pentrating the canopy). Buy ED binoculars they are much better.
