Snowbee 4mm SFT Neoprene Chest Bootfoot Waders - Cleated Sole. The 2015 SFT Neoprene Wader range not only uses 100% CR (Chloroprene Rubber) Neoprene, which is the best quality available, being ultra-soft and highly elastic, but also uses a revolutionary new manufacturing technique. FB sizes suitable for those with a fuller body, approximately 15% larger.
Employing the same SFT (Seamless Fusion Technology) Snowbee have used on the popular SFT Neoprene Gloves, the seams are first fused together, with state-of-the-art adhesives and then heat taped inside and out. Not only does this give a ‘flat-profile’ seam less likely to chafe, but you retain the full 4mm thickness of Neoprene for complete water resistance for the life of the waders. The innovation doesn’t stop there. The more traditional inner nylon lining has been replaced with a fine, laminated micro-fleece offering additional warmth and comfort, even in the coldest conditions.
Many manufacturers use cheaper grades of Neoprene such as SBR (Styrene Butyl Rubber), a very cheap grade of Neoprene that not only starts life less elastic then premium grades, but quickly loses its elasticity, in as little as 3-6 months. This then transfers all the stresses and strains onto the seams, rather than being absorbed by the elasticity of the material. Traditionally, Neoprene waders are manufactured by buttgluing the seams together, then ‘blind stitching’ the outside for strength, and heat taping the inside. When you think about it, you have a 4mm waterproof layer, which you have then punctured half way through, by the ‘blind-stitching’ technique, which now only leaves you 2mm of material between you and the water!
Another innovation from Snowbee! ‘Roll-down’ facility on the chest waders. Opposing clips on the braces allow the waders to be rolled-down to waist level and the braces clipped together to form a belt. Ideal, when shallow wading, or a lot of walking is involved. A simple idea… and another example of Snowbee innovation!
Rubber Boots
The new 2015 Bootfoot models are fitted with a quality hand-laminated Rubber Boot, fitted with a steel sole shank built into the mid-sole. This reduces torsion and protects the foot from sharp stones or piercing injury. Lined with 4mm Neoprene throughout for total warmth in the coldest conditions. The top of the boot is fitted with an innovative ‘Roll-up’ rubber sealing strip to ensure the boot join remains 100% waterproof. Sole Options: Available in either a ‘Commando pattern’ deep tread sole for general use, or our Combination felt-sole / cleated heel for maximum grip in rivers.

Its hard to find a pair of waders that last much more than a year before they wear/fail/leak.So Ive paid a bit more and will see if that pays off. These have rubber boots; Ive found they perish within the year and leak..well see ! The PVC boots usually last better .The shoulder straps on these have plastic snap fittings....these often break getting trodden on is most common...or dropping on the ground Velcro covered straps are easier to adjust and immune to breakage.Can I come back and report in a years time ??

Bought Snowbee SFT neoprene waders (boot foot with cleated sole) best price I could find and excellent (so far) for beach fishing keeping me very warm. I take a size 8 shoe and wader size 8 gives plenty of room so I can wear with thin thick pair of socks.Delivery prompt.

absolute bargain and next day delivery, I take a size 10-1/2 but a size ten are ideal with room for thick pair of socks, I am 6 ft length of waders fit ideal for me, a friend paid nearly £180 for same waders, uttings staff very helpful and understanding.
