The rod is a perfect all rounder with tip fine enough for flatty bites or fish under a pound in weight yet can cast a 8oz lead. Cast action great. Lovely graphics. Fixed reel seat. Have made the modern trend of sliding seats on a couple of my other rods fixed as the reel rotates no matter how tight you have the winch tightened. Would rate this rod as good as my old PTX 2500 Zippy.
