A good quality jacket, well sited pockets, and a length that makes it compatible with trousers not just bib and brace. Add a base layer and fleece and you're good for most situations. It has not been tested in heavy rain as yet, so the jury is still out in that respect.

I have not given this jacket a 10 is because having only just received it I have not had the chance to wear it. It is well made and comfortable to wear giving movement in the upper arm area for casting whilst not feeling too big in the fit. There are enough pockets and they are easy access. The 2 'chest' pockets are partially lined and could be used as hand warmers. The hood has a wired peak and is adjustable so that it fits the head and does not obscure vision. This jacket is excellent value.
