This is a follow up review. I agree with Tracy's review. I've had mine for a while now and I have the same issue with a sticky leg that will not deploy. I stripped the legs and cleaned the internals but after a few trips the sticky leg started sticking again. They are only good for 12 months max before the legs start to stick/seize up but while they work they are excellent.

When they first arrive they are great, so simple to use and they seem well made. Sadly my first set went wrong within the first year of ownership, Uttings showed great service to immediately replace. Sadly the replacement set have now failed, just one leg, it seems to be the internal friction lock mechanism, but whatever it is, it renders them useless! So beware if you expect a decent life span from a reasonable outlay. Maybe i'll saw off the bad leg and make a bi-pod.......

These shooting sticks are excellent. Quick and easy to deploy. Light and easy to carry around. They are great in my pop up hide too. Overall a very versatile useful set of sticks.
