4* for quality only because this scope has been replaced by one that includes ED glass which gives even better light transference with slightly different magnification as well but at a much higher price. Several suppliers still have stocks of this obsolete model which offers great value for money... however when I purchased it from Uttings they had 2 in stock (1 after I bought mine) with a £140 discount which brought it to 50% of the cost of the new model absolutely nobrainer decision to buy this previous model and I am extremely impressed.
