I use this predominantly for grey squirrel control. In the morning before the trees warm up in the sun it is particularly effective for using along with my shotgun, when it allows you to spot many greys that you simply would never have seen otherwise. I know a few other red squirrel conservation rangers who use this as well. The more you use it, the more uses you find for it actually, and I've used this on different conservation situations as well as hunting and general wildlife spotting.

If Like me you cant have a deer dog because of your work situation, this is the tool for you I have tracked down a wounded deer many times with this unit its great blood on frozen ground gives an indication for 30 minutes and also for tracking deer in varies light levels its a great unit does not need to be exclusively used at night either.
