The Compact Video Recorder CVR640 is a compact and lightweight, portable electronic unit designed to record the image produced by Digital Night Vision devices equipped with a Video Out.
The CVR640 can be used with models such as the Yukon Ranger/Ranger Pro, Newton Hornet and Pulsar Recon series. The CVR640 also enables conversion of an analog signal to a digital. The unit runs on three AAA batteries (inc. NiMH rechargeables) and, since it has no built-in LCD screen, the CVR640 offers an extended operating time of up to seven hours. The recorded video signal can be downloaded to the hard disc of a PC with the video signal format being user defined – PAL or NTSC.
The CVR640 is fitted with a Weaver mount which enables the unit to be affixed to a Weaver rail on a Digital NV device. If the NV device does not have a Weaver rail, the CVR640 can be attached with the supplied ¼” tripod socket to Weaver adaptor.

Easy to use and no frills, but works very well, recording good quality movies with long battery life. Lightweight and easy to mount on gun or carry in a pocket. Worth it!
