Ive spent so much money on boots over the last couple of years that are meant to be watertight but end up splitting or perishing. I wear this type of boots for their intended purpose not for fashion purposes so I expect them to do what they say. So was hunting for a pair that had good reviews consistently and found these. They are perfect for my needs. The variable leg is very variable indeed! Its great you can tighten them right up or have them looser if youre wearing a heavier pair of trousers. The comfort is amazing. These boots feel like slippers its like walking round in a pair of clouds. They arent heavy as you might expect from the quality. The sole is just the right amount of tread for me not too deep that you walk around with clods of earth in but deep enough that it gives an impressive grip even on slippy tree roots etc. As for being waterproof/tight they totally are so far....and time will tell on that one but judging by how well made they look I am definitely hopeful. This is the second pair of these that Ive bought. They are just so comfy. Good size if you wear wellie socks (otherwise slightly big). They fit my wide calves. Really good for walking in. My last pair lasted 18 months but I wear them a lot at least 3hrs a day every day! Expensive but worth it if you walk/work in wellies a lot.

Fedup with boots that cant last more than cpl of months and that are uncomfortable. Straight off these were excellent fit and great support for long walks out with dog in rain floods and snow up and down muddy terrain and no pain to legs or feet. Coming back for another pair for purely working around yard with stable work.

I have found the light! I almost shed a tear when I slipped these wellingtons on. I suffered in a pair of leaky Hunters for 2yrs. Those years are now a distant, horrifying memory. One complaint I kept seeing about these boots is that they grip the back of your sock and pull them down to the balls of your feet with every step and soon you have no sock. I did feel this happening, but you just wear knee high socks. Sorted!
